College and Career Center

The Skyline High School College and Career Center serves as a resource to educate and empower students through high school and beyond.

Our Services

Working in partnership with the SHS Counseling Department, we provide help with:

  • Activities that occur During High School: High School and Beyond Plan, Dual Credit Programs, Worksite Learning.
  • College Planning: Planning, College List, Applications, Essays, Paying for College and Scholarships.
  • Career Pathways: Exploration, Military, Apprenticeship, Great Careers Expo.
  • Gain Experience: Work Opportunities, Internships, Volunteering.

High school students are invited to attend Great Careers on Tuesday, March 3 at Lake Washington Institute of Technology, registration and permission forms are required.  Registration is open for the U.S. Military Academy - West Point information  session on March 29. We are asking for community members to serve as interviewers to our 500+ seniors during Senior Exit Interviews (a graduation requirement) on April 1. We are also looking for professionals and educators to present to students for 15-20 minutes and answer their career-related questions at a career day event on March 25.  We also have information on a summer opportunities fair, scholarships and volunteer opportunities.
