In the case of heavy snowfall and icy conditions, sports and other extracurricular activities may be canceled during a calendar break. We recognize that many families who may be comfortable driving in heavy snow, may live in flatter areas, may live in well plowed areas often feel frustrated when cancellations occur over break. We understand this but want to remind folks we have to make decisions at a level where we consider all that’s involved (side road drivability, travel of officials, travel of event staff, etc.). We cannot use waivers/inherent risk permission slips to address this so when we cancel extracurriculars over breaks, they are fully canceled.
