Lauren poses with another inductee.

Lauren Baumann, Head Dance Coach at Skyline High School, has been inducted into the Washington State Dance Coaches Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition honors her remarkable contributions to the Washington state dance community and her dedication to shaping a successful, well-rounded program at Skyline. Since taking over as head coach in 2014, Lauren has led the Skyline Dance Team to multiple state championships and built a program known for its emphasis on family, community, and personal growth. Her vision and leadership have not only elevated the team's performance on the competition floor but also created lasting bonds among dancers, inspiring them to strive for excellence both on and off the stage.

Lauren’s impact reaches far beyond Skyline High School. She has cultivated partnerships with local dance studios, developed the Junior Spartans dance camps, and played a key role in advancing opportunities for dancers across the state, including founding the All State program and the JV/Middle Level Championship program. Her passion for dance and mentorship has also helped many of her dancers continue their dance careers at the collegiate and professional levels. Lauren’s induction into the Hall of Fame celebrates and honors her tireless commitment to the Skyline community and her broader influence in shaping the future of dance in Washington state. We are incredibly proud and grateful for the legacy and lasting impact Lauren has made on her dancers and the entire Skyline family.
